Originally from Oak Park, IL (home to both Frank Lloyd Wright and Ernest Hemingway) Amy Wray Irish grew up immersed in Chicago’s diverse arts scene.

She earned her BA in English from the University of Iowa and her MFA in Creative Writing from Notre Dame University.  After moving to Colorado, she joined Lighthouse Writers and Columbine Poets.
